Hello Everyone,
Just a quick update on the progress of my book. It has been in the hands of an editor since last Fall who told me that she'd have the first round of edits completed some time in the winter. It seems there was somewhat of a backlog because I still hadn't received anything from her as of a few weeks ago.
Recently I got an email from the CEO/founder of Sunbury Press that my editor has since left the company. I was a bit panicked, wondering about the fate of my book, but he informed me that due to how long I've already been in the queue, he's personally going to do the editing of my book (eek....talk about pressure!).
I have since received the first edits from him and am working away on those now. Hope to have a better idea soon of how much back and forth will be needed and when it will go to print. Will keep you all posted.
Warm regards,
Maia
