Guess what?
Mirrors is done! Well, the first draft is done. Hard to believe I've been able to see this through, but I couldn't have done it without all of your support.
So what's next?
Editing! Right now I have a handful of folks who have graciously agreed to read my first draft and help me uncover opportunities to tighten things up, identify any plot holes, etc. It's important to me that I can make this as good as it can be before I go to print. Once I receive this feedback, we'll go into final editing and catch all those spelling and grammar issues (hopefully). Then, I will submit my completed manuscript to the handful of publishers that have expressed some interest and see if they will bite. If not, that's OK, self-publishing is my backup.
Hang in there. My hope is that a book will be in your hands this fall for sure, and it's all dependent on how long the editing takes and whether a publisher comes on board.
