Celeste Lovick is a Canadian singer-songwriter, author and home-educator. Medicine Song is her first novel.
Celeste Lovick was born on the west coast of Canada and now lives in Norfolk, England with her husband and son. During the summers Celeste may be found with her guitar in the green fields of various festivals around the UK. As well as being an author and songwriter, Celeste is also a home-educator and reiki practitioner. She received her BA Writing Degree from Dartington College of Arts in 2010 and has recorded four albums of original songs. Medicine Song is her first novel.

Dear Friends,
Thank you all so much for helping Medicine Song to make its way in the world! It has been an amazing journey so far. Here is how things are progressing.
As a result of being involved in the Publishizer crowdfunding campaign, a wonderful independent publisher called Odyssey Books (who have worldwide distribution) has expressed interest publishing in Medicine Song, and has asked to read the full manuscript. I expect to hear back from them in the next week or so as to whether or not they will offer me a contract. Here is their website if anyone is interested in having a look: http://odysseybooks.com.au/
Also, another exciting thing has happened. Publishizer has changed how they do things and are now giving their campaigns unlimited time, and as I haven't yet withdrawn my funds (due to still deciding which publisher to go with), they have reactivated my campaign! So it has gone live again! If I can sell 12 more advance copies, then Medicine Song will be queried to 27 more publishers. So if there is anyone you know who wanted to buy an advance copy but hasn't done it yet, it is still possible to do so!
I am so looking forward to holding that first book in my hands and being able to send all of you your copies. It will not be long now! If I do not end up going with an independent or traditional publisher, I will use the funds raised to self-publish. So either way, the book will be published! I hope to be able to send you your copies within the year.
And as mentioned before, if there are any funds left over from this Publishizer campaign, after the book is published and everyone gets their copies, I will be giving money to organisations that support Syrian refugees.
