This contest is for those exploring the relationship between thought and consciousness in the human mind, the brain as part of the physical body, and how health, nutrition and well-being correlate with happiness.
The brain is the source of behavior, but in turn it is modified by various behavioral practice such as physical exercise (aerobic fitness) or movement-based mental training (yoga), according to Frontiers Research Topics. Recently, considerable efforts are devoted to unraveling the significance of human various practice during the evolvement as well as establish the knowledge about the role of physical/mindful exercise in health.
Happiness is also used in the context of mental or emotional states. It forms a central theme of Buddhist teachings, is the ultimate goal of life in Hindu religion, and of course is the primary meaning of good fortune or ethics in Roman Catholicism.
From our troubled relationship with our own sense of self, to why the remarkable cognition powers of an octopus are blending neuroscience and research, and how after centuries of trying we might finally be able to measure happiness, these topics enlighten and inform seekers of all things health, wellness, and spirituality.
